About this role
COSM's Production Specialist role sits at the intersection of automotive passion and operational excellence. You'd manage the end-to-end preparation of vehicle listings for Bring a Trailer's auction platform, working directly with sellers to organize their submissions, verify accuracy, and guide them through the pre-auction process. This means coordinating data and photos against company standards, answering seller questions with professionalism and empathy, tracking listings through internal systems, and ensuring each one transitions smoothly to auction launch. You're essentially the trusted point of contact who turns raw seller submissions into polished, complete listings that reach a global collector car audience.
The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple listings in various stages while meeting daily production targets. You'll need solid writing and editing abilities to present detailed vehicle information clearly, plus genuine interpersonal skills to build trust with sellers and collaborate across internal teams. Two or more years in customer support, content production, technical writing, automotive services, or a related field is the baseline; hands-on automotive knowledge or collector car enthusiasm is valued but not required.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, paying $66,000–$70,000 annually.
