About this role

Ascension's Structural Heart program in Nashville is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to serve as a clinical anchor across inpatient and outpatient settings. You would manage acute care for structural heart patients in the hospital, see patients in clinic, and work closely with interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to coordinate complex cases and procedural planning. The role demands strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills—conducting comprehensive evaluations, interpreting studies, managing conditions through prescriptive authority, and educating patients and families on treatment plans.

This position requires at least three years of cardiac or cardiovascular nursing practice experience and a Master's degree in Nursing, along with current Tennessee NP licensure and RN credentials. You'll need BLS certification within your first month. Ascension offers the backing of a large health system network while maintaining local autonomy, and emphasizes a physician-led, collaborative culture centered on mission-driven care. The hybrid arrangement allows you to split time between hospital and clinic settings in Nashville.
