Description
Quality Assurance Engineer - RF-SMART for NetSuite
US East Office (Jacksonville, FL)
We exist to transform our customers and change lives
Who We're Looking For
RF-SMART is seeking a QA Engineer to test enterprise grade software in a fast-paced scrum development team at our US East Office in Jacksonville, FL. The QA Engineer job description encompasses two main roles: testing and documentation. After Software Developers complete their development tasks, Quality Assurance Engineers test them. They use a variety of tools, testing applications and reports to compare the software to user requirements. They ensure that the software functions according to those requirements. After testing, Quality Assurance Engineers recommend changes and improvements for software. They work with developers to make the appropriate changes and then test everything all over again.
What You'll Do:
Quality Assurance Engineers document the entire quality testing process. They describe the program, evaluation, testing methods, and any improvements made to the software. Because Quality Assurance Engineers work so closely with the software, they often create training materials and instruct users how to use the software properly. The QA Engineer will be responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan, executing the plan, and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability and stability.

About this role
RF-SMART's Quality Assurance Engineer II role sits within a fast-paced scrum team supporting enterprise-grade NetSuite software. You'll own the full testing lifecycle—building end-to-end test plans, executing them, and validating that solutions work across functionality, performance, reliability, and stability. This is hands-on work that bridges testing and documentation; you'll identify issues, collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to resolve them, and often create training materials to help users understand the software.
The position requires 3–5 years of testing experience in Agile environments, a CS degree or equivalent, and solid technical chops: you'll need to run and debug automation tests in JavaScript or TypeScript, write new automation tests, and work with tools like Jira, X-ray, and testing frameworks such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Jasmine. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential, given how much you'll document processes and coordinate across functional and technical groups. NetSuite and supply chain or warehouse management system experience is valued but not required.
This is an in-office role in Jacksonville, Florida. The company does not sponsor visa applicants. The interview process involves five stages, including conversations with your hiring manager, QA team, cross-functional Agile partners, and an executive stakeholder.
