About this role
Multiquip is looking for a field-based sales representative to drive revenue across Northern California and Northern Nevada for its construction equipment line. You'd own a defined territory, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship-building through closing deals and supporting ongoing customer needs. The role spans unit sales, parts, maintenance kits, and service offerings—meaning you'll need to understand Multiquip's complete equipment portfolio and translate that knowledge into solutions that fit each customer's situation.
The work is hands-on and varied. You'll spend roughly half your time traveling within your territory, meeting customers face-to-face, representing the company at trade shows, and occasionally assisting with field stock delivery. Back at the office, you'll use HubSpot CRM to track opportunities, manage quotes, and document activity. Success requires strong communication skills, the ability to read technical specifications and explain equipment applications clearly, and a track record of growing accounts and hitting revenue targets.
This position suits someone with two to three years of B2B sales experience in construction or industrial equipment, ideally holding a bachelor's degree or equivalent industry background. You should be comfortable with physical demands—standing, walking, lifting equipment over 100 pounds, and working in outdoor or mechanical environments. The base salary is $100,000 annually plus bonus, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and up to four weeks of paid time off.
