About this role

Indie Campers is looking for someone to lead daily operations at its Miami depot—a hands-on role that blends customer service, fleet management, and team coordination. You'll spend 70–80% of your time executing rental workflows directly: managing check-ins and check-outs, preparing campervans, handling documentation, conducting basic vehicle inspections, and keeping the fleet ready. The remaining time involves overseeing a small team, tracking KPIs, controlling costs, and escalating technical issues to regional specialists.

This role suits someone with 2–4 years in operations, logistics, rental, or hospitality who thrives in fast-paced environments and isn't afraid of physical work. You'll need to be comfortable lifting moderate loads, working outdoors in all weather, and staying flexible around weekends and peak seasons. A valid driver's license is required. The position reports to a District Manager and offers a $45,000 base salary plus commissions and bonuses, along with 11 days of PTO, medical benefits, and free road trips to experience Indie's fleet across multiple continents.
