About this role

Comprehensive Mobile Care is looking for a part-time podiatrist to provide foot care and wound management to geriatric patients across five Pennsylvania locations. You'd work roughly one to two days per week on a flexible weekday schedule, seeing five to six patients monthly at senior centers, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities. The role centers on routine foot care, diabetic complications, orthopedic dispensing, and patient education—with particular focus on populations that have limited access to specialty care.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position that strips away the administrative overhead of private practice. CMC handles all scheduling, billing, equipment, and supplies, so you're free to concentrate entirely on clinical work. The daily rate runs $700 to $800, making it a realistic option for supplementing an existing practice or transitioning gradually into geriatric care. You'll need an active Pennsylvania podiatry license, a DPM degree, and at least one year of clinical experience; prior geriatric or mobile care work is preferred but not required.

The role suits someone drawn to underserved populations and comfortable working independently in facility-based settings rather than a traditional office. If you have solid diabetic foot care knowledge, strong patient communication skills, and want meaningful work without the business management burden, this could be a good fit.
