About this role

Headkount is hiring Brand Advisors in San Antonio to represent multiple beauty and skincare brands across Sephora, Ulta, and other retail locations. This is part-time W-2 work—not contract or gig—which means steady hours, consistent pay, and company support rather than the isolation of pure freelancing. You'll rotate between brands and stores, giving you variety while maintaining schedule predictability.

The role centers on sales execution, product knowledge, and customer education. You'll drive sales goals for the brands you represent, train store staff on products and selling techniques, set up and run in-store events, and maintain merchandising standards. After each shift you'll complete a brief survey through the Headkount app to keep leadership informed. The position requires weekend availability and reliable transportation across your market.

This suits someone with at least two years of beauty retail or brand experience who enjoys selling and connecting with customers, and who wants the structure of regular hours without sacrificing the flexibility of part-time work. Hourly pay ranges from $27 to $32 based on experience. You'll need a working smartphone, comfort with apps and video calls, and the ability to work independently while staying connected to a team of other beauty professionals.
