Description

Company Overview

Immunome is a clinical-stage targeted oncology company committed to developing first-in-class and best-in-class targeted cancer therapies. We are advancing an innovative portfolio of therapeutics, supported by a leadership team with deep experience in the design, development, and commercialization of cutting-edge therapies, including antibody-drug conjugates. Our pipeline includes varegacestat, an investigational gamma secretase inhibitor for which an NDA has been accepted by the U.S. FDA; IM-1021, a clinical-stage ROR1 ADC; IM-1617, a clinical-stage solid tumor ADC; and IM-3050, a clinical-stage FAP-targeted radioligand therapy. We are also advancing a broad portfolio of early-stage ADCs pursuing undisclosed solid tumor targets.

Position Overview

Immunome is seeking a Senior Oncology Account Manager to drive territory-level sales performance in preparation for and following the potential launch of varegacestat in desmoid tumors. This role will be responsible for building strong relationships with healthcare providers, executing brand strategy at the local level, and ensuring that patients and physicians in the territory have the information and support needed to consider varegacestat as a treatment option. This work is grounded in authentic patient centricity, keeping the needs of people living with desmoid tumors at the center of every decision.

As a core member of the U.S. Commercial organization, this individual will partner cross-functionally with Market Development, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to deliver a compliant, insight-driven customer experience. The mission of this role is to achieve territory sales objectives while establishing Immunome as a trusted commercial and scientific partner within the desmoid tumor community. Success in this role depends on the ability to extend trust — to physicians, teammates, and cross-functional partners alike — as the foundation of every relationship.

Responsibilities

Territory Sales Execution

  • Achieve or exceed territory sales goals for varegacestat in alignment with the national brand strategy.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan that identifies priority accounts, targets, and call plans.
  • Deliver clear, compliant, and compelling clinical and value-based selling messages to healthcare providers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the desmoid tumor treatment landscape, referral patterns, and local standards of care. This requires the ability to scan, adjust, and focus as market dynamics, referral patterns, and provider needs evolve.
  • Track and report territory activity, call metrics, and business results using approved CRM tools.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong, compliant relationships with physicians, nurses, and other office staff within the territory.
  • Identify and engage local key opinion leaders, sarcoma specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Support compliant company-approved promotional speaker programs, in-office educational activities, and other healthcare provider engagements in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies. Serve as a responsive, trusted resource for customer questions, connecting providers to Medical Affairs or Market Access as appropriate.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with:
    • Market Development on KOL engagement and market insight sharing
    • Marketing on execution of brand strategy and promotional materials
    • Market Access on payer coverage, reimbursement support, and patient access
    • Medical Affairs to ensure compliant scientific exchange
  • Share territory-level insights and competitive intelligence with sales leadership and internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Professionalism

  • Conduct all territory activities in strict accordance with applicable laws, company policies, industry regulations, and legal/regulatory guidelines (including FDA promotional rules, the PhRMA Code and OIG guidance).
  • Maintain accurate expense reporting, sample accountability (if applicable), and territory documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience in oncology or rare disease.
  • Prior oncology launch experience is highly desirable.
  • Prior oral oncolytic experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within a large territory, conferences, HQ travel, and some overnight and weekend travel as needed. (~60-80%)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in rare oncology, sarcoma, or specialty markets highly desirable. Success requires staying curious, learning quickly, and adapting faster than the evolving treatment landscape demands.
  • Strong understanding of the local referral network, treatment dynamics, and payer landscape within the territory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and other sales tools.

About this role

Immunome is preparing to launch varegacestat for desmoid tumors, and this role is the on-the-ground sales driver for that effort in the Miami territory. You'll own territory sales targets, build relationships with oncologists and sarcoma specialists, and execute the brand strategy locally while staying deeply connected to the desmoid tumor treatment landscape. The work spans traditional account management—call planning, CRM tracking, hitting numbers—alongside cross-functional collaboration with medical affairs, market access, and marketing teams to ensure physicians and patients have the clinical information and support they need.

This is a launch-stage position that demands both independence and partnership. You'll need at least seven years of oncology or rare disease sales experience, with prior oral oncolytic or oncology launch experience strongly preferred. The role requires you to scan a shifting market, adjust tactics as referral patterns and payer dynamics evolve, and maintain strict compliance with FDA and industry regulations while building trust with healthcare providers. Travel within the territory, to conferences, and occasionally to headquarters will account for roughly 60–80% of your time.

The position sits at the intersection of commercial execution and authentic patient advocacy. Immunome emphasizes that success here depends on extending trust, staying curious in a fast-moving specialty landscape, and keeping desmoid tumor patients' needs central to every decision—not as rhetoric, but as the foundation of how you engage with physicians and internal partners alike.
