About this role
BAYADA's Phoenix office is building out its pediatric private duty nursing team and looking for an RN ready to work one-on-one with individual clients in their homes. Unlike traditional home health visits, you'd follow a consistent schedule—choosing from 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts—and develop real relationships with your assigned child while executing care plans, monitoring conditions, and documenting observations. The role offers genuine autonomy in the home setting, and tracheostomy experience is valued though not required. You'll need an active Arizona RN license and at least one year of nursing experience to qualify.
The position pays $35–$39 per hour depending on the client assignment, with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) matching, and employer-paid life insurance. BAYADA emphasizes a supportive, close-knit team culture in the Phoenix office where nurses report feeling valued and backed up in the field. The company also offers scholarship opportunities, free courses, and on-the-job training, plus a $1,200 referral bonus.
If you're drawn to pediatric care, want schedule flexibility without sacrificing consistency, and prefer building relationships with individual clients over rotating visits, this role aligns with what BAYADA describes as a calling in pediatric home care.
