About this role
Silverado Lee's Summit is seeking a part-time caregiver for overnight shifts to join a memory care community recognized among the nation's top workplaces in aging services. You'd provide hands-on support to residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and related conditions—assisting with daily activities like bathing and dressing, building relationships with residents and families, and maintaining care records. The role demands physical capability (walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.), reliability with transportation, and comfort around animals. While prior experience with memory-impaired individuals is preferred, it's not required; what matters most is dependability, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping residents maintain dignity and quality of life.
The position runs part-time on the night shift with every other Saturday and Sunday scheduled as 8-hour shifts, paying $18–$21 per hour. Silverado offers eligible employees 401(k) matching, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and additional perks like pet insurance and discount programs. This is a good fit if you're seeking meaningful caregiving work with a stable, well-regarded employer and the flexibility of part-time hours—though you'll need reliable transportation and the ability to work overnight and weekend rotations.
