About this role
Ascension's Nurse Quality Manager role in Carmel combines regulatory leadership with operational management across the health system. You would lead accreditation survey activities from preparation through completion, develop data-driven approaches to meet external quality and safety standards, and translate compliance requirements into actionable insights for leadership. The position also involves managing a team—handling recruitment, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, and staff relations.
This role suits someone with nursing credentials (RN with BSN preferred) and at least three years of leadership or management experience, though the position can be filled with a high school diploma plus seven years of relevant experience. Familiarity with CMS 5 Star and Leapfrog programs is highly valued. You'll need strong analytical skills to aggregate data and produce reports, comfort with auditing and process improvement, and the ability to communicate complex regulatory information across departments. Based in an in-office setting, this is a full-time position within a large nonprofit Catholic health system.
