Description
BUILT DIFFERENT
We believe there's a better way to build. One that moves faster, thinks bigger, and gives people the ownership to challenge what's been done before. We're not here to follow the standard. We're here to set a new one. We don't believe the best work happens inside rigid boxes. People are given real ownership, real responsibility, and the space to operate beyond a title. Scope grows with impact. Responsibility grows with trust. And the people who step up help shape what comes next. We're building an organization around ownership, not hierarchy, where your influence is defined by what you take on, not what's written on your email signature.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The infrastructure is ambitious. The people behind it should be too.
We need a Scheduler who thinks from first principles, questions convention, and wants the weight of owning the outcome. Someone who can build a schedule that's never been done before, defend it in the room, and hold the whole team to it.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
+ Build it: Own the master schedule end-to-end in Primavera P6 — WBS, logic, calendars, constraints, and critical path — from pursuit through closeout.
+ Defend it: Serve as the final word on schedule logic and float, running DCMA 14-point health checks and defending the plan to owners, GCs, and leadership.
+ Read it: Translate architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings, plus long-lead equipment and utility and permitting dependencies, into a schedule that reflects how the project will actually get built.
+ Recover it: Spot slippage before it becomes a problem, run what-if scenarios, and build the recovery plan before anyone asks for one.
WHAT YOU BRING
+ 8+ years of construction scheduling experience, with deep, hands-on mastery of Oracle Primavera P6.
+ Experience scheduling large industrial, mission-critical, or hyperscale data center projects.
+ Fluency with CPM scheduling theory and DCMA 14-point (or similar) schedule quality standards.
+ Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and specifications.
+ Experience integrating long-lead equipment procurement, utility, and permitting dependencies into a master schedule.
BUILT FOR THIS
If you are mission-driven, ownership-minded, drawn to hard problems, willing to challenge convention, and ready to build the playbook.
If you aren’t waiting for every answer, looking for layers of approval, leading from a distance, attached to “the way it’s always been done,” or looking for just another role.
BONUS POINTS
+ PSP (AACE), PMI-SP, PMP, or similar scheduling credential.
+ Forensic delay analysis, time-impact analysis, and claims support experience.
+ Experience with schedule risk analysis — Monte Carlo simulation, Primavera Risk Analysis (Pertmaster), Safran Risk, or Acumen Fuse.
+ Familiarity with Last Planner or pull planning, and BIM 4D tools such as Navisworks or Synchro.
"People are our greatest differentiator: an environment where high performers thrive, where collaboration drives impact, and where careers are shaped by opportunity, not hierarchy."
Asher Genoot,
About this role
Hut 8 is looking for someone to own the master schedule on ambitious infrastructure projects—from first principles through closeout. You'll build and defend schedules in Primavera P6, read complex multi-discipline drawings to understand how work actually sequences, integrate long-lead equipment and permitting dependencies, and catch slippage before it becomes a crisis. This role demands deep CPM expertise, fluency with DCMA 14-point standards, and the ability to translate architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical plans into a schedule that holds.
The company explicitly values ownership over hierarchy. You won't be executing someone else's plan; you'll own the outcome, challenge convention, and operate with real responsibility and scope. This suits someone with 8+ years of hands-on scheduling experience—ideally on large industrial, mission-critical, or hyperscale data center work—who thinks independently, defends their logic in the room, and runs recovery scenarios before they're asked. If you're comfortable with ambiguity, don't need layers of approval, and are drawn to hard problems, this is the environment. Bonus credentials include PSP, PMI-SP, or PMP; experience with forensic delay analysis, schedule risk analysis tools, Last Planner, or BIM 4D is a plus.
