About this role
Working as a Shift Lead at Sol Flower puts you at the center of a fast-growing cannabis retail operation backed by one of North America's largest producers. You'll manage the front-of-house team during your shift, balancing customer service excellence with sales performance while maintaining compliance with Arizona's strict cannabis regulations. The role demands someone who can both execute retail fundamentals—cash handling, POS operations, opening and closing procedures—and elevate the people around them through coaching and recognition.
This position suits experienced retail or supervisory professionals with genuine interest in the cannabis industry. You'll need at least one year of supervisory experience and one to two years in a dispensary setting, plus the ability to pass Arizona's background check and obtain a Facility Agent card. Beyond the operational skills, success here hinges on strong communication, problem-solving, and the capacity to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The physical demands are substantial: expect prolonged standing, frequent lifting of 25–50 pounds, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round.
Copperstate emphasizes culture and employee development, positioning this as more than a transaction-focused retail job. You'd be part of a company that explicitly values staff well-being and sees frontline leaders as critical to building that environment.
