About this role
AvidXchange's Supplier Retention Representative role focuses on keeping low-dollar spend accounts engaged with the company's AP automation and payment solutions. You'll handle supplier inquiries across multiple channels, educate them on how to optimize their e-payment processes, and identify opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow revenue. The work involves both problem-solving—escalating complex issues and collaborating across internal teams—and insight generation, where you'll spot trends from supplier interactions and feed them back to the business.
The ideal candidate has one to three years in a customer-facing role, ideally with supplier experience, and strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly. You'll need solid proficiency with standard business tools like Outlook, Excel, and Salesforce, plus the self-direction to manage your own workload and the analytical mindset to interpret data. This is an in-office position in Charlotte, North Carolina, suited for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems creatively, and working independently while staying organized and detail-oriented.
