About this role

Ascension's Nashville cardiovascular and neurosurgery center is seeking a surgical technologist to support complex procedures in the operating suite. You'll prepare sterile and non-sterile instruments, hand supplies to surgeons during operations, assist with patient positioning and draping, and maintain precise instrument counts and organization throughout each case. This is hands-on clinical work requiring focus, sterility discipline, and the ability to anticipate surgeon needs in a fast-paced environment.

To qualify, you'll need current NBSTSA surgical tech credentials and BLS certification (obtained within 30 days of your start date). Your background should include either an associate or technical degree, or equivalent experience—specifically, two years of cumulative experience with a high school diploma, or four years of directly applicable surgical tech work. This full-time, in-office position is based in Nashville and part of Ascension, a large nonprofit Catholic health system.
