About this role
LA28 is building the procurement and contracting infrastructure for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and this role puts you at the center of that work. You'll manage vendor partnerships and contracts for cleaning and waste services across Games venues, reporting to the Manager of Procurement and Contract Management. Over the years leading up to the Games, you'll handle RFPs and tenders, administer contracts and SLAs, lead contractor accreditation for janitorial and waste hauling services, and track vendor performance against KPIs—work that directly affects how well the venues function when athletes and spectators arrive.
This position suits someone with at least four years of procurement, contract management, or vendor management experience who thrives on detail and coordination. You'll need strong organizational skills, the ability to translate operational needs into clear contractual terms, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management platforms. Experience with major events, venue operations, or public-sector procurement is valued but not required. The role demands comfort working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where priorities shift and deadlines compress, especially as event dates approach.
The contract position is based in downtown Los Angeles with no relocation assistance, though the company welcomes applications from outside the area if you can work on-site. Salary ranges from $73,000 to $98,000 annually. You should expect variable hours, including evenings and weekends during peak periods, and be prepared for the role to evolve—potentially including operational responsibilities during the Games themselves.
