About this role

Pump is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own how the company positions and launches its cloud cost optimization platform to engineering and finance buyers across AWS, GCP, Azure, and AI/LLM use cases. You'll be the connective tissue between product, sales, and marketing—responsible for everything from crafting positioning and messaging to planning launches, building sales enablement materials, and running customer and competitive research. This role demands someone who can translate technical complexity into clear customer benefits and keep messaging consistent across content, paid, and SEO channels.

You'll need 3–5 years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or developer tools, with a proven track record running launches and enabling sales teams. Strong writing skills are essential—the ability to make technical products accessible without oversimplifying. You should be comfortable with project management, data analysis, and tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics. Experience in cloud infrastructure, FinOps, or AI infrastructure is a plus, as is familiarity with usage-based or consumption pricing models.

This is a full-time, in-office role in San Francisco requiring five days a week onsite. Pump offers competitive compensation with equity, comprehensive healthcare and dental, a 401(k), 13 days of PTO plus a company shutdown from December 24 through January 1, free lunch and dinner, annual company retreats, and developmental bonuses for professional growth in cloud-related fields.
