About this Role

Nex Playground brings motion-tracked fitness into the living room with BoxFlow and NexGym. As our Fitness Instructor, Digital Content, you'll create workouts parents love and grow into leading our fitness challenges, programs, and community.

You'll start in BoxFlow: given a song, you choreograph a boxing workout synced to the beat, then write and record its voiceover. This role suits a credible trainer or instructor who is building their name in the space and excited to grow with us.

First 90 Days

  • Ship BoxFlow workouts end to end: beat-mapped punches plus recorded voiceover.
  • Playtest and tune them with the team.
  • Design and Pitch your first fitness challenge or program using our available tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Choreograph BoxFlow workouts to music using Jabs, Crosses, Hooks, Slips, Squats, and Blocks, paced for beginner and intermediate players.
  • Write and record voiceover scripts that cue combos, coach form, and motivate. Appear on camera as needed.
  • Design and lead fitness challenges and programs across BoxFlow and NexGym that help parents get started and stay consistent.
  • Engage our fitness community as a coaching voice and bring feedback back to the team.
  • Partner with designers and engineers on new workout interactions for the living room.

Required Qualifications

  • Group fitness teaching experience and Fitness certification (e.g. NASM, ACE, ACSM).
  • Solid boxing fundamentals and a feel for combos that are fun and safe.
  • Strong sense of rhythm: you hear a song and know where the punches go.
  • Clear, energetic script writing and confident delivery on mic and camera.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Boxing or kickboxing coaching experience.
  • Experience creating fitness content for apps, streaming, or social media.
  • An existing fitness community or social presence.

We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Flexible working hours and vacation policy.
  • Product-driven culture that treasures talents and individual growth.
  • Front-row seat and hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies in the evolving gaming field

About this role

Nex is building motion-tracked fitness experiences for families, and this role puts you at the center of creating the workouts that power BoxFlow, their boxing game. You'll choreograph punches and combinations to songs, write and record coaching voiceovers, and appear on camera—essentially designing the full workout experience from beat to delivery. Over the first 90 days, you'll ship complete workouts and pitch your first fitness challenge or program, then grow into leading community engagement and helping shape the fitness roadmap.

This is a part-time contract (20 hours per week at $35/hour) running through the end of 2026, with a clear path to full-time conversion. The role demands a credible fitness instructor or trainer with group teaching experience and current certification (NASM, ACE, or similar), solid boxing fundamentals, and strong rhythm sense. You'll need confidence on mic and camera, plus the ability to write clear, energetic scripts that cue form and motivate. Boxing or kickboxing coaching experience and existing fitness content creation or community presence are valuable but not required.

The work is remote, though you may collaborate across time zones and occasionally travel for company events. If you're an instructor building your name in the space and want hands-on experience with cutting-edge motion gaming technology while growing into an on-camera fitness personality, this offers both immediate creative work and a genuine growth opportunity.
