About Four Hands
About this role
Four Hands is looking for an intern to support the product development cycle for its key customer accounts during a 12-week spring term (January through April 2027). You'd work directly within the sample workflow, managing swatch logistics, maintaining tracking systems, and organizing materials that move between the Austin headquarters, retail partners, and international offices. The role blends operational precision with creative work—you'll pull swatches for design reviews, keep the swatch room running smoothly, and build polished product presentations using PowerPoint and Portfolio software for key account meetings.
This position suits someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You should be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, have solid written and verbal communication skills (especially for coordinating with international teams), and be genuinely interested in learning how product development and supply chain work in the furniture industry. A background in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred, though what matters most is your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and bring an eager-to-learn attitude to a growing company that values both excellence and people.
