About this role
At The Ritz-Carlton's Phoenix location, this part-time Food and Beverage Attendant role centers on maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation that define the brand's service environment. You'll handle closing procedures—breaking down and storing goods, cleaning equipment, restocking, and completing checklists—alongside ongoing setup and maintenance of work areas throughout your shift. A key responsibility is inspecting all china, glass, and silver for cleanliness before use, ensuring every detail meets the property's exacting standards.
The role demands physical stamina and attention to detail. You'll be on your feet for extended periods, moving between different areas, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and managing fine motor tasks like handling glassware and silverware. You'll also interact with guests according to company standards and communicate professionally with colleagues and over the phone. Safety compliance, confidentiality, and a polished personal appearance are non-negotiable expectations.
No prior hospitality experience or certifications are required, though a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. This position suits someone reliable and detail-oriented who takes pride in maintaining spaces and supporting a team, and who can handle the physical demands of food service operations in a luxury hotel setting.
