About this role
Pioneer is seeking a SAP Plan to Produce Business Process Lead to drive a large-scale S/4HANA transformation where business outcomes—not technical requirements—set the direction. You'd own the entire Plan to Produce workstream, leading fit-to-standard workshops, resolving cross-functional process dependencies, and ensuring process integrity from design through deployment. This is fundamentally a business-first role: you work backward from SAP functionality to define the processes, master data, and inputs the organization actually needs.
The ideal candidate has deep experience designing business processes within SAP environments, with proven success leading transformations where process design shaped system design rather than the reverse. You'll need solid working knowledge of Plan to Produce functionality across demand management, supply planning, production engineering, material staging, quality management, and batch/inventory management. Experience creating business process flows is essential; familiarity with SAP's Active Methodology and BPMN standards is a plus.
This is a remote contract role (1099) paying $115–130 per hour, with occasional travel to the client site. As a consulting engagement at a firm scaling rapidly, you'd work directly with executive teams on complex problems while helping shape strategy—though the day-to-day focus here is squarely on process leadership and business transformation delivery.
