About this role
Orion Innovation is seeking a Process Engineer to lead business transformation initiatives within its Delivery department, working from the Edison, New Jersey office on a hybrid basis. This role sits at the intersection of operational improvement and emerging technology, requiring someone who can assess current workflows, identify automation and AI opportunities, and shepherd organizations through the redesign and implementation of AI-enabled processes. You'll work directly with business leaders, operational teams, and technologists to translate strategic AI adoption into concrete, measurable outcomes.
The position demands seven or more years of process engineering or transformation experience, with demonstrated expertise in workflow analysis, automation evaluation, and stakeholder facilitation. Beyond technical process skills, you'll need to understand how agentic AI and intelligent automation can reshape operations while maintaining appropriate human oversight and governance. Experience implementing AI solutions, familiarity with enterprise platforms like Salesforce or ServiceNow, and formal certifications in methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma are valued, though hands-on transformation work is the core requirement.
This role suits someone who combines analytical rigor with business acumen—someone comfortable moving from process mapping workshops to defining governance frameworks to supporting live deployments. If you've successfully guided organizations through automation or AI initiatives and can bridge the gap between what's technically possible and what drives real business value, this could be a strong fit.
