About this role

Trinidad Benham's tubewinding operation in LaGrange needs someone to run their production line from setup through shutdown, keeping output within quality specs while maintaining equipment and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The role centers on machine operation and monitoring—threading up the line, watching for jams, making adjustments to knife settings and other components, and completing changeovers to meet production schedules. You'll also handle quality documentation, keep the workspace clean to GMP standards, and manage the glue system to prevent spills. When problems exceed routine fixes, you'll escalate to maintenance; simpler issues you'll resolve directly.

The position demands physical stamina—standing and walking for ten-hour shifts (potentially twelve during peak periods), lifting 35 to 45 pounds regularly, and climbing steps. You'll need to read a tape measure for quality checks and may operate a forklift to move paper rolls and transport finished cartons. The Monday-through-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm schedule is fixed, though overtime is expected when needed.

This is a full-time, in-office role suited to someone with hands-on manufacturing experience who's comfortable with repetitive machine operation, comfortable troubleshooting, and able to work independently within a structured production environment.
