About this role
Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Technical Writer to own enterprise documentation across systems, programming, and operations. You'd work closely with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into clear, usable materials—everything from user manuals and SOPs to executive briefings, White Papers, and project plans. The role demands versatility: you'll need to communicate the same information effectively to technical teams, general users, and C-level audiences, often creating visual aids like process flows and architectural diagrams using Visio and PowerPoint.
This is a hybrid position in Tampa requiring at least four years of technical writing experience and a bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent industry background). You'll need strong proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, sharp editing skills, and the ability to manage documentation workflows while maintaining active relationships with multiple stakeholders. The compensation range is $100,000–$130,000 based on experience and technical skill level.
The role suits someone who thrives on variety and collaboration—you'll be moving between different document types and audience levels regularly, which means strong time management and communication skills are as important as writing ability. This is a direct full-time W2 position only; Dark Wolf does not work with staffing agencies or contractors for this role.
