  • Experience within financial services, fintech or other highly regulated environments

About this role

Mthree is placing a Senior Front End Developer with a leading global investment bank to build a greenfield payments monitoring platform—a genuinely novel capability in the industry. Based in London and working in-office, you'd join a production services team tackling complex, business-critical systems where your work directly impacts operational efficiency and risk visibility across global banking infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role demanding full ownership of design, architecture, and delivery. You'll design and build high-performance React and Angular applications, develop API integrations, and work across a large distributed financial ecosystem. The position calls for strong commercial experience with React and/or Angular, solid JavaScript and TypeScript skills, and a genuine grasp of software architecture and design patterns. You should be comfortable delivering scalable applications in an Agile environment and familiar with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins and Jira.

The role suits a confident engineer ready to drive technical decisions and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams in a fast-moving environment. Prior experience in financial services or regulated industries is desirable but not required; C#/.NET exposure and familiarity with monitoring tools would strengthen your candidacy.
