Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to lead all logistics, inventory, and distribution operations across multiple locations. This role ensures our plumbing, heating, and A/C field teams have the tools, materials, and vehicles they need to deliver exceptional service safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and returns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for tools, parts, and equipment across all branches.
- Partner with purchasing and service departments to ensure proper stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Manage tool and equipment assignments, calibrations, and returns for field technicians.
- Monitor fleet and material logistics to support daily service operations.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and develop warehouse and logistics staff, including training and performance evaluations.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, safety policies, and accountability measures.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Process & System Optimization
- Utilize technology and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with service managers, dispatch, HR, and finance to streamline workflows and meet company goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, productivity, and safety.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience (multi-location preferred).
- Proven experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse and inventory management systems; fleet management experience a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
