About this role
Asset Living's TOPS program places leasing specialists on short-term, floating assignments across its portfolio of multifamily, affordable housing, student housing, and other property types. If you thrive on variety and adaptability, this role offers rapid-fire exposure to different communities, operations, and teams—typically for one to thirty days at a time. You'll handle the full leasing cycle: qualifying and showing prospects, processing applications, closing deals, and maintaining accurate documentation. You'll also support resident relations, implement marketing strategies, and ensure model units stay show-ready.
This position demands comfort with frequent travel and the ability to onboard quickly into unfamiliar environments. You'll represent Asset Living's standards while integrating into each community's specific systems, policies, and culture. The role suits someone with prior leasing or property management experience who can operate independently, manage multiple software platforms, and stay organized amid transitions. A high school diploma and strong computer skills are required; knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA compliance is expected.
The work is in-office and full-time, based in Houston. This is a safety-sensitive role, so you may face additional compliance requirements. If you're looking for stability in one location or a traditional nine-to-five routine, this isn't the fit—but if you want hands-on leasing experience across diverse properties and don't mind packing a bag, it's a direct path to building broad operational knowledge within a large, established management firm.
