About this role
At Crestwood Advisors, a Boston-based wealth management firm managing over $8 billion in assets, this Trade Operations Associate role puts you at the intersection of trading execution, portfolio management, and client service. You'll handle equity trades through the firm's order management system, reconcile trading activity daily with custodial records, and manage options strategies for high-net-worth clients—all while working closely with a Senior Trader and collaborating across the investment team. The position requires you to stay alert to regulatory compliance, flag trading or security concerns during investment committee meetings, and proactively support portfolio managers with rebalancing opportunities and tax-loss harvesting ideas.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of trading or investment operations experience and strong comfort working across multiple platforms—ideally including portfolio systems like RedBlack or Eclipse. You'll need solid technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle several workflows at once while maintaining data accuracy. Experience with VBA or analytical tools is valued, as is progress toward a CFA designation. This is a hybrid role based in Boston with three days in office and two remote.
The position offers a base salary of $75,000 to $85,000, plus annual bonus potential and standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Crestwood operates independently within the Focus Financial Partners network, meaning you'll work in an entrepreneurial environment while having access to broader organizational support.
