About this role
Personal Risk Management Solutions, a boutique insurance brokerage serving high-net-worth clients in Midtown Manhattan, is looking for a part-time administrative intern to support its Private Client Services and Operations teams. You'd handle the core functions that keep a professional office running smoothly: managing phone calls and mail, organizing both digital and physical files, entering data into client records, and preparing routine correspondence. The work is straightforward clerical support—ideal for a college student seeking practical experience in a structured office setting without requiring prior administrative background.
The role calls for someone organized, detail-oriented, and reliable who can manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality around client information. You'll need solid Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to follow instructions and adapt as priorities shift. A collaborative environment and exposure to how a specialized insurance operation functions are the main draws here—this is a chance to build foundational administrative competencies while working for a firm backed by Emigrant Bank.
