About this role

Trilon Group's CPH division, a top-500 design firm, is looking for a licensed Professional Engineer to manage civil engineering projects in the Tampa area. You'd own week-to-week project execution across scope, schedule, budget, and quality while leading a production team and coordinating with subcontractors and permitting. This means serving as the primary client contact, preparing and negotiating contract scope and fees, tracking labor budgets against actuals, identifying scope creep, and ensuring timely billing and collections. You'd also mentor your team through weekly reviews and maintain detailed project controls using Smartsheet and financial systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's preferred), an active P.E. license, and at least five years of progressive A/E/C experience. You'll need strong proficiency with project management tools like Smartsheet and VantagePoint, solid analytical skills to manage labor costs and financial data, and the ability to negotiate effectively and solve problems under pressure. Excellent communication and relationship-building are essential, as you'll be the trusted advisor to clients and the accountable point of contact for project delivery.

CPH provides medical, dental, vision, and disability coverage; company-paid life insurance; 401(k); paid time off and holidays; and paid parental leave. This is a full-time, in-office position in Tampa or Lakeland, Florida.
