ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll own day-to-day IT for our US employees, keeping their tools, devices and access running smoothly and securely. You’ll take charge of defined systems and outcomes, use your judgment to prioritize, and bring clear recommendations when an issue needs a second pair of eyes. This is a full-time role based in Chicago or New York.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

You’ll partner closely with our IT Operations team in our Berlin HQ, to help shape a consistent IT experience for everyone at Talon.One.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

  • Own US IT support by triaging tickets from our ITSM system, email and chat, resolving issues, documenting outcomes and keeping users informed
  • Escalate complex or higher-risk cases to Berlin IT with a clear recommendation
  • Administer Google Workspace, JAMF, Notion, Slack and Zoom, maintaining accounts, groups, policies and configurations with user and security impact in mind
  • Set up and support meeting-room AV, including Google Meet hardware or Zoom Rooms, and troubleshoot audio, video and connectivity issues
  • Run identity and access across onboarding, role changes and offboarding, supporting SSO and provisioning and applying least privilege alongside system owners
  • Manage the US device lifecycle and asset inventory, from procurement and shipping to repairs, returns and secure offboarding with our hardware and logistics partners
  • Support endpoint security and compliance by following established controls, helping triage security alerts and keeping device and account configurations secure
  • Improve how IT works by documenting processes and runbooks, spotting repeat problems and implementing practical fixes

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bring 3+ years in IT support or administration, including service-desk practices and end-user computing
  • Know Google Workspace and JAMF well, and work confidently on macOS and Windows
  • Show familiarity with collaboration tools and meeting-room AV
  • Diagnose issues methodically, find root causes and know when to escalate
  • Apply SSO, least privilege, endpoint security, data privacy and secure device handling in your daily work
  • Prioritize your workload, follow through reliably and document your work clearly
  • Collaborate effectively across time zones, with fluent English

The estimated total compensation for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, though actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and location. The salary range is subject to change and may be adjusted at any time.

About this role

Talon. One, part of the Adyen group, is looking for an IT Administrator to manage day-to-day technology support for its US workforce based in Chicago. You'd own the full scope of IT operations for US employees—triaging and resolving tickets, administering core platforms like Google Workspace and JAMF, managing device lifecycles, and handling identity and access controls. The role involves close collaboration with the Berlin IT Operations team across time zones, so you'd need to communicate clearly and work independently while knowing when to escalate complex issues.

The ideal candidate brings at least three years of IT support or administration experience, with solid hands-on knowledge of Google Workspace, JAMF, macOS, and Windows. You should be comfortable troubleshooting methodically, understand endpoint security and SSO principles, and have experience with collaboration tools and meeting-room AV setups. Strong documentation habits, reliable follow-through, and the ability to spot patterns in recurring problems will help you improve processes over time.

The position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 and is full-time, in-office in Chicago. Talon. One emphasizes a collaborative, international culture with flexible work practices and a commitment to professional growth.
