About this role
Alliance Group is hiring experienced Controls Technicians for field-based work installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation systems across West Lebanon, New Hampshire. You'll work with HVAC systems, energy management platforms, and network communications—diagnosing problems, commissioning equipment, and training customers on-site. The role requires at least two years of building automation experience, with additional background in HVAC or electrical work preferred. Familiarity with Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Schneider systems is a plus, though the company states it's willing to train the right candidate.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preventive maintenance, hardware and software troubleshooting, database creation and tuning, and accurate documentation of all work. You'll need strong communication skills to explain issues and timelines to customers, identify upsell opportunities, and maintain detailed records. You'll drive a company vehicle (maintained and fueled by the employer) and must pass background and motor vehicle checks, plus a post-offer physical exam, as the role involves access to government buildings and schools.
