About this role
SharkNinja is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Suzhou operation and take ownership of quality throughout the new product development lifecycle. You'll lead design reviews, DFMEA, and design verification activities while serving as the quality voice on cross-functional NPD teams—ensuring that consumer expectations and regulatory standards shape every engineering decision before tooling and production. The role spans design validation, manufacturing process controls, supplier quality management, and pre-production risk mitigation, with regular responsibility for presenting quality status and corrective action progress to senior leadership.
The position demands five or more years in quality management, solid grounding in quality tools and standards, and hands-on experience with quality gates like IQC, IPQC, and FQC. You'll need a bachelor's degree in quality management, electrical, or mechanical engineering, fluent English communication skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating across supply chain, manufacturing, and design teams. The role requires flexibility for domestic and international travel and is based in-office in Suzhou.
This is well-suited to someone who combines technical quality expertise with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and wants to influence product quality at the design stage rather than react to issues downstream. If you're comfortable with data-driven problem-solving, 8D responses, and taking ownership of quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives, this role offers meaningful scope within a global consumer products company.
