About this role
Momentic Studios is launching STRONG, a high-intensity Pilates-cardio hybrid fitness concept, across the U.S., and they're building founding instructor teams in key markets including Cambridge. As a STRONG Instructor, you'd lead 45-minute classes that blend rowing and cycling machines with Pilates precision, all choreographed to music and lights. The role demands energy, precise cueing, and the ability to coach clients through challenging full-body workouts while keeping the experience inclusive and fun. You'd also own community-building—learning member names, celebrating milestones, and helping shape the culture of a new studio as it scales.
This position suits someone with at least six months of group fitness teaching experience (Pilates, HIIT, cycling, or barre) who thrives on performance and connecting with people. You'll receive comprehensive training through STRONG Academy to master the method, and you're expected to represent the brand professionally both in and out of the studio. The role includes operational responsibilities like studio maintenance and supporting membership and presale efforts alongside your teaching.
Compensation ranges from $40 to $100 per class depending on attendance, performance, and location. You'll get free classes, schedule flexibility, and the chance to grow your career across a rapidly expanding national network. A CPR/AED certification and formal Pilates or personal training certification are preferred but not required.
