About this role

Lyft is seeking a Data Analyst to shape how the company manages pricing and driver earnings across its platform. You'd work at the intersection of product strategy and quantitative analysis, developing hypotheses about market dynamics, building predictive models, and creating the analytical infrastructure that supports decisions at scale. This role requires close collaboration with product leads to translate data insights into operational tools and systems.

The position calls for a Master's degree in Operations Research, Analytics, or a related field, plus three years of professional experience in analytics or a similar role. You'll need solid skills in quantitative analysis, machine learning, and programming—specifically Python, R, C++, or similar languages—along with experience building data pipelines and working with databases. If you're comfortable moving between statistical modeling, software development, and business problem-solving, this could be a strong fit.

Based in New York City on a hybrid schedule (three days per week in office), the role offers a salary range of $140,000 to $190,440 annually, plus standard benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, 18 weeks of paid parental leave, and commuter subsidies. The company emphasizes a collaborative culture and values in-office presence as part of the hybrid arrangement.
