About this role

Supporting two Directors at Sony Pictures Animation means managing the operational backbone of their creative work—handling their schedules, communications, and the flow of materials that keeps production moving. You'd coordinate meetings across multiple teams, anticipate conflicts between creative priorities and production timelines, and serve as a trusted liaison between the Directors and everyone from producers to studio departments. The role requires reading situations carefully, exercising discretion with sensitive information, and staying organized as priorities shift.

This position suits someone with two to five years in production or administrative roles, ideally with experience supporting filmmakers or in animation studios. You'll need strong organizational skills, reliability under pressure, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments. Comfort with Google Workspace and standard office tools is essential; familiarity with production tracking software or Adobe applications is valuable. The work is remote from Los Angeles, though occasional overtime may be required during production cycles.

If you thrive on keeping complex operations running smoothly, enjoy working behind the scenes in creative environments, and can handle confidential information with sound judgment, this role offers a direct view into how animated features and series come together at a major studio.
