About this role
O2 Engineering is hiring for two distinct Project Manager roles supporting public works recovery and rebuild initiatives in Los Angeles, both full-time and onsite. The first scope involves managing capital projects from programming through construction close-out, requiring either 10 years (PM II) or 15 years (PM III) of experience alongside a professional license or CCM certification. You'd oversee scope, budget, and schedule while coordinating complex infrastructure systems, facilitating stakeholder meetings, and navigating permitting and change order processes. Experience with disaster recovery or FEMA/Cal OES documentation is preferred. The second scope targets a Project Manager with specialized GIS expertise—combining 10–15 years of project management experience with at least 5 years in GIS analysis, spatial data management, and dashboard development. This role focuses on designing and maintaining rebuild tracking systems, integrating multi-source data, and producing maps and reports for both executive and community audiences, with proficiency in ArcGIS, Power BI, and scripting languages preferred.
Both positions require a degree in a relevant field (Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geography, Data Science, or similar) and strong communication skills. PM II salaries range from $154,000 to $161,000; PM III from $174,000 to $182,000. Benefits include fully paid health, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and an Employee Assistance Program. These roles suit experienced professionals comfortable managing high-stakes, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced environment, particularly those with post-disaster or public agency backgrounds.
