About this role

Loenbro's Industrial Electrical Estimator role involves developing accurate bids and proposals for electrical work on industrial construction projects, primarily from a hybrid office base in Gilbert, Arizona. You'll spend most of your time reviewing electrical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications to scope projects, then building detailed labor and material estimates using estimating software like AccuBid Classic. The work also includes soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing, with occasional site visits to pre-bid meetings and active construction locations.

The position calls for either a degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering, or three years of hands-on electrical contracting experience. One or more years of estimating experience in industrial settings—particularly water/wastewater projects—is strongly preferred. You'll need solid technical knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and labor requirements, plus the ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and manage multiple estimates under deadline pressure.

This is a full-time exempt role reporting to the Chief Estimator. Loenbro offers standard benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, PTO, and professional development support. The company positions itself as a long-term construction partner with national reach across industries including critical electrical, mechanical, and structural work.
