About this role
Interpath Laboratory, a family-owned independent lab operating across the Pacific Northwest and expanding into the Midwest, is looking for a Phlebotomist/Processor to join their Dalles, Oregon location. You'll split your time between patient-facing work—drawing blood, collecting specimens, and delivering excellent customer service—and behind-the-scenes lab duties like data entry, specimen processing, and quality assurance. The role demands someone detail-oriented and reliable who can juggle administrative tasks, technical procedures, and compliance requirements while staying calm in a busy lab environment with close team interaction.
This position requires at least one year of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma. You'll need strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and the physical capacity to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work safely with potentially infectious materials. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday with hours to be determined, and you may be asked to cover shifts at other Interpath locations as needed.
Interpath offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and free in-house lab testing. The pay is $18.98 to $25.69 per hour depending on experience. If you're looking for stability with a company that values employee relationships and has been growing steadily for over 60 years, this role offers that foundation.
