You'll also take and record vital signs when trained, support medication self-administration, document care in the EMR system, and communicate observations about patient condition to the clinical team. The work requires independence, strong time management, and the ability to build genuine relationships with patients and families during visits.
To qualify, you must hold current Home Health Aide certification or training, be at least 18, have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and auto insurance, and maintain current CPR certification. You'll need to demonstrate the ability to read and follow care plans, document accurately, and work unsupervised. The ideal candidate brings empathy, patience, and strong observation skills—particularly the ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition—along with a self-motivated, accountable approach to the work.
VitalCaring, founded in 2021 and now operating over 100 locations nationwide, offers a supportive team environment with medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) with company match; paid time off; and tuition reimbursement.
