About this role
Titan Security Group is seeking a Security Officer for a downtown Chicago high-rise, a role that blends security responsibilities with genuine hospitality. You'll be the primary point of contact for guests and tenants, greeting people at the building exterior and lobby, managing traffic flow, addressing concerns, and coordinating services like transportation. The work requires you to maintain the property's safety and cleanliness while actively promoting the building's amenities and fostering a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication with colleagues across departments.
This position suits someone with prior experience in customer-facing roles—whether as door staff, a receptionist, hotel associate, or similar—who combines attention to detail with genuine people skills. You'll need to be comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, occasional lifting over 50 pounds, and working in various weather conditions. Illinois PERC certification is required, along with passing a background check and drug screen. The role also calls for comfort around pets, as animals are present in the building.
Titan offers $19.50 per hour, paid time off, paid holidays, medical and dental insurance, and pathways for career growth. Weekend availability is expected. Bilingual capability is a plus, and the company—recognized as a Top Workplace by USA Today—emphasizes training and development as part of its culture.
