About the role:

The Associate Director, Sales-Crypto & Stablecoin is a key individual contributor on the sales team, driving revenue and ecosystem growth by establishing strong relationships with potential customers and executing sales strategies with enterprise clients to deliver revenue against company and personal quota targets. This role carries dual accountability: individual sales quota, and alignment with senior stakeholder account and initiative priorities on communication and knowledge-transfer goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively supports senior stakeholder client and partner engagements, action items, and select initiatives, aligning personal account ownership with those activities
  • Provides leadership with regular visibility into account and initiative status, exercising judgment on what and when to escalate
  • Advances priority items by executing directly or by coordinating with the appropriate cross-functional teams
  • Extracts key learnings from strategic account and initiative work and integrates them into the broader GTM organization, inclusive of identifying what needs to happen next and ensuring it gets actioned into repeatable motions, content, and artifacts
  • Identifies prospective client pain points and presents complex solutions simply, leveraging strong communication skills (active listening, influencing, handling difficult conversations, building trust)

What We're Looking For:

  • Understanding of stablecoins, crypto and blockchain ecosystems
  • Fundamental knowledge of relevant organizations and industry segments — including but not limited to DeFi, CeFi, Payments, and blockchain infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of financial services, including the regulatory environment
  • Experience in enterprise and consultative/solution selling — including financial modeling, ROI/business case development, negotiations, account planning, pipeline management and forecasting
  • Excellent communication, including customer communications, executive communications, and presentation skills
  • Engages effectively in cross-functional collaboration — with Product Management, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, CX Engineering, Marketing, Legal, etc. — and can articulate technical concepts in business terms
  • Demonstrated judgment in determining what warrants leadership visibility versus independent resolution
  • Ability to operate with a degree of autonomy while staying tightly aligned to a senior stakeholder's priorities and account strategy
  • Skilled at translating account-level learnings into scalable, repeatable content or process for a broader team

The range below may vary if based outside the New York tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). Base salaries are determined during our interview process, during which we assess the candidate's experience, skills, and capabilities against internal peers and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

About this role

Digital Asset is seeking an Associate Director of Sales focused on crypto and stablecoin adoption among enterprise clients. You'd own a personal revenue quota while also supporting senior stakeholders' strategic account initiatives and broader go-to-market priorities. The role blends individual contributor accountability with cross-functional leadership—you'll manage your own pipeline and close deals, but also extract learnings from complex accounts, synthesize them into repeatable processes, and ensure the broader sales organization benefits from what you discover in the field.

Success in this position requires a solid grasp of blockchain, stablecoins, and the crypto ecosystem across segments like DeFi, CeFi, and payments infrastructure. You'll need real enterprise sales experience: financial modeling, ROI development, negotiations, forecasting, and account planning. Strong communication skills matter equally—you should be comfortable translating technical concepts for business audiences, handling difficult conversations, and presenting to executives. The role demands judgment about what deserves leadership escalation versus what you can resolve independently, plus the ability to stay tightly aligned to senior stakeholder priorities while operating with genuine autonomy.

Based in New York City with in-office work required, this full-time position offers a base salary of $180,000–$200,000 and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. It's suited for someone who understands institutional finance, wants to operate at the intersection of traditional and crypto markets, and can balance individual sales targets with contributing to organizational scaling.
