About this role

AlphaSense's Directed Content team generates thousands of expert interviews quarterly to build the market's largest proprietary transcript library. As a Sector Specialist for Healthcare, you'd report to the Director of Research and serve as the bridge between content strategy, product development, and operational execution within this fast-growing division. The role blends deep sector knowledge with project leadership—you'd lead initiatives to improve how the team identifies and recruits healthcare experts, oversee quality assurance on transcripts (including those from AI interviewers), and work with product and engineering teams to shape how new tools and features serve healthcare research.

The position suits someone with 5–7 years in equity research, healthcare strategy, or a related field who can think independently and communicate clearly across functions. You'd need genuine expertise in healthcare—understanding key players, business models, and industry trends—combined with the ability to manage projects, synthesize feedback, and operate comfortably in a dynamic environment. Much of your impact comes through collaboration: gathering customer insights, establishing feedback loops, piloting AI-enabled tools with operations, and identifying content gaps that drive strategy.

This is a remote, full-time role offering a base salary of $110,000–$130,000, plus performance bonus, equity, and benefits. It's well-suited for someone who wants to leverage deep sector knowledge in a data-driven, intelligence-focused environment rather than in traditional research or advisory roles.
