About this role
Chowbus is hiring a Technical Associate in Orlando to manage on-site installations and support for its restaurant technology platform serving thousands of Asian restaurants across North America. You'll handle the full lifecycle of deployments—configuring menus with restaurant partners, setting up networks, installing hardware like POS terminals and kiosks, training staff, and staying on-site post-launch to troubleshoot. The role requires you to work independently, prioritize tasks based on each restaurant's needs, and coordinate across central teams to ensure smooth adoption of products and processes.
This position demands Mandarin fluency alongside English, plus at least one year of hands-on experience with software operations and hardware installation. You'll need customer-facing experience, comfort with physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, using ladders for cable runs, kneeling during setup), and a valid driver's license for traveling between client locations. Startup experience and a related bachelor's degree are preferred but not required. The role is full-time and in-office in Orlando, with on-call availability expected.
Compensation is $55,000–$60,000 plus bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, flexible PTO, and company holidays plus a birthday off.
