About this role
Silverado Belmont Hills is seeking a Full Time Caregiver for the PM shift to join a memory care community recognized by Fortune Magazine as a top-10 workplace in aging services. You'll provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities—bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining—while building meaningful relationships with residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role requires you to maintain a safe and respectful environment, keep accurate care records, and communicate changes to the nursing team.
This position suits someone who is dependable, patient, and genuinely motivated to help others maintain dignity and quality of life. While prior experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care is preferred, it's not required; what matters is your reliability, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn. The work is physically active—you'll be walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds—and you should be comfortable around animals and pets. You'll need reliable transportation and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Silverado offers competitive pay ($25–$29 per hour), a structured schedule of four days on and two days off, and solid benefits including 401(k) matching, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. The company provides paid training and has a track record of internal mobility, making this a viable entry or advancement point in memory care work.
