Description

Build More Than Just a Career. Build Your Future.

At Vailexa, we’re not just hiring — we’re building thinkers, creators, and future leaders.

We believe in giving people the space to grow, the freedom to think, and the opportunity to create real impact from day one. If you’re someone who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and grow beyond limits, you’ll feel right at home here.

Vailexa Technology is an IT staffing and talent solutions firm specializing in AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, and data talent. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, with a delivery center in Greater Noida, India, we place consultants with Fortune 100 clients through direct, MSP/VMS, and systems integrator channels.

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to open and grow Fortune 500 direct client accounts. You will own the full cycle: identifying target accounts, reaching hiring and procurement leaders, securing MSAs and vendor approvals, and turning first requisitions into lasting programs. You will be our first market presence in Denver and a core part of our scaling phase.

What you'll do

  • Open new logos. Prospect and win Fortune 500 enterprises, focusing on technology, financial services, healthcare, energy, and telecom.
  • Reach the right buyers. Build relationships with CIOs, CISOs, VPs of Engineering and Data, IT directors, and talent acquisition leaders.
  • Get Vailexa approved. Lead vendor onboarding, MSAs, rate negotiations, and compliance requirements with procurement and legal teams.
  • Turn wins into programs. Grow accounts from first requisitions to multi-consultant engagements and preferred-supplier status.
  • Partner with delivery. Translate client needs into clear requirements for our US and India recruiting teams, and hold the team to fill-rate and quality targets.
  • Own your pipeline. Keep accurate CRM records, forecast monthly and quarterly, and report on activity, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Represent Vailexa in Denver. Build a local network through industry events, CIO and security forums, and in-person client meetings.
  • Bring market insight back. Share competitor rates, skill demand, and buyer feedback to sharpen our positioning in AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, and data.

What you bring

Required

  • 6+ years of business development or sales in IT staffing, consulting, or technology services
  • A record of opening new enterprise accounts, with at least two Fortune 500 logos you landed personally
  • Consistent attainment of revenue or gross-margin quotas
  • Working knowledge of IT staffing models: contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire, and SOW
  • Experience navigating enterprise procurement, vendor onboarding, and MSA negotiation
  • Strong written and verbal communication with senior technical and business leaders
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Denver metro area; travel up to 25% across the USA

Preferred

  • An existing network of IT and security leaders in Colorado or the Mountain West
  • Experience selling AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, or data engineering talent
  • Familiarity with MSP/VMS programs (e.g., Beeline, SAP Fieldglass) and offshore or hybrid delivery models
  • Experience at a growth-stage firm, building a territory from the ground up
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field

Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); paid time off; paid holidays; travel reimbursement

About this role

Vailexa is looking for someone to establish and grow their Denver market presence as their first business development hire in the region. You'd own the full sales cycle for Fortune 500 enterprise accounts—from prospecting CIOs, CISOs, and engineering leaders through vendor onboarding, MSA negotiation, and scaling initial placements into multi-consultant programs. The role sits at the intersection of new business development and account management, requiring you to translate client hiring needs into clear requirements for Vailexa's US and India-based recruiting teams while maintaining pipeline discipline and quarterly revenue targets.

This is a contract position suited to someone with at least six years of IT staffing or technology services sales experience and a proven track record of personally landing Fortune 500 logos. You'll need working knowledge of staffing models (contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire, SOW), enterprise procurement workflows, and ideally some familiarity with MSP/VMS platforms. An existing network in Colorado or the Mountain West is valuable; experience selling AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, or data talent is preferred. The hybrid arrangement is based in Denver, with up to 25% travel across the US.
