About this role

Oura is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own packaging strategy and execution across new product launches and ongoing improvements for their health-tracking ring devices. You'd manage the complete lifecycle from concept through mass production, coordinating across engineering, operations, design, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure packaging meets product protection, brand standards, cost targets, sustainability goals, and customer experience expectations. This requires both the discipline to track schedules, dependencies, and cross-functional decisions, and the technical depth to drive packaging design reviews, material validation, manufacturability assessments, and supplier coordination.

The role demands seven or more years in program or packaging management within hardware or consumer electronics, with proven success launching complex products from development through production ramp. You'll need strong executive communication skills to present status and risks clearly, sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and the ability to balance speed with process rigor in a fast-scaling environment. Experience supporting premium brands, sustainable packaging initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with creative and design teams is valued.

Success means packaging programs hit milestones predictably, cross-functional teams stay aligned on priorities and risks, and launches proceed without avoidable last-minute escalations. The position is full-time and based in San Francisco, with competitive salary, equity, comprehensive health benefits, an Oura Ring, and 20 days PTO plus 13 paid holidays and eight wellness days.
