- Experience with SC, IV or PO dosing
- Submental blood collection
- Necropsy and tissue dissection

About this role
Manifold Bio's pharmacology team is seeking a research technician for a one-year contract role centered on in vivo mouse studies that directly support the company's internal drug discovery pipeline. You'll handle the full lifecycle of study preparation and execution—from prepping supplies and setting up procedure rooms to animal handling, dosing, blood collection, necropsy, and sample processing. The work is hands-on and procedurally intensive, requiring comfort in a vivarium environment and the ability to manage detailed study records in Benchling.
This role is explicitly designed as a training opportunity. While hands-on mouse handling and organizational rigor are essential from day one, techniques like dosing routes, blood collection, and tissue processing will be taught on the job. The company is transparent that strong performers may transition into a permanent Research Associate position after the contract period. Success here depends on genuine enthusiasm for learning, proactive planning, and a collaborative mindset rather than extensive prior experience with every specific technique.
The position is full-time (40 hours per week), on-site five days a week in Boston's Fenway area, with compensation of $30–$35 per hour. It's best suited for someone with foundational animal handling experience who is genuinely interested in building deeper pharmacology and research skills within a biotech environment focused on protein design and in vivo screening.
