About this role
Robinhood's Regulatory Reporting Compliance Associate role sits at the intersection of customer service and regulatory risk management. You'll own the process of reviewing customer complaints, determining which ones trigger mandatory FINRA filings, and preparing reports for regulators and leadership. The work involves deep analysis of complaint data to spot trends, build controls, and help other teams address issues before they escalate. You'll also train contractors, refine standard operating procedures, and support partners across technology, audit, and fraud functions.

The role demands strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment. You'll need a bachelor's degree and at least one year of compliance experience, plus a solid grasp of brokerage operations and FINRA regulations—particularly Rule 4530. Experience in financial services operations, an active Series 7 license, or prior exposure to complaint review processes would strengthen your candidacy.
The base pay for the Chicago location is $65,000 to $77,000, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and flexible wellness spending. This is a contract role, so benefits and employment terms should be clarified during your conversations with the recruiter.
