About this role

DLH is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support Department of Defense programs in North Charleston. You would own configuration management across the full system lifecycle—from initial requirements through end-of-life—implementing change control, baseline management, and configuration audits for both developmental and operational systems. This means developing CM documentation like Configuration Management Plans and Status Accounting Reports, participating in control boards and technical reviews, and guiding the engineering team on industry standards and best practices.

The day-to-day work involves managing configuration items and baselines, routing change requests and problem reports, supporting Engineering Change Proposal packages, and administering the CMPro system for your assigned project. You'll coordinate between the Change Analyst, engineering teams, and program office, review and release configuration items including documents and hardware drawings, and conduct configuration audits. The role also includes backup responsibilities for software license management and training new users on CM practices.

You'll need six years of hands-on experience with computerized systems, including test and evaluation, network protocols, LAN administration, and Windows operating systems. Within 18 months of hire, you must pursue a relevant certification—either PSEM/CSDP or an approved vendor-specific credential (Microsoft, Red Hat, Cisco, Oracle, VMware, or cloud certifications). A Secret clearance is required. The position is full-time and in-office. DLH offers standard benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and professional development support.
